Finally getting through photos from our trip to Utah in May. Here are some shots from the iconic Porcupine Rim trail, located just outside of Moab. It’s a classic for a reason- great trail!

After a climb from the trailhead, you are rewarded with a killer view of Castle Valley- and the prospect of miles of descending ahead.

Descending with great views of the valley below.

The contrast between the La Sal Mountains to the southeast and the desert below is stunning.

Much of the trail descends through rugged, ledgy doubletrack, but don’t let that keep you away- it’s plenty challenging and tons of fun.

One of the many ledgy sections of trail.

Along with the techy, ledgy stuff, there are many fast flowy sections.

Dropping down towards the Colorado River.

Doubletrack and sage. The view ain’t bad!

The last section of the trail is all singletrack, and oh-so-good!

Killer singletrack and the Colorado River below.

We ain’t in the Pacific Northwest, that’s for sure!

Just awesome.

The grand finale- a hell of a good way to finish the ride!
